Tri-5 R&D is now offering Custom full length Headers for your 55, 56 and 57 Chevy.
We have headers for the Stock steering, 605 Power Steering Conversion, Unisteer
Rack & Pinion bolt on kits, and the newer power steering boxes introduced recently.
Big Block, (502 and down), are made with 3/8 inch flanges, 14 gauge 2 inch primary
tubes, (thicker than industry standard) and 3 inch Ball Style gasketless collectors.
Small block headers are offered with 3/8 inch flanges, 1-5/8 or 1-3/4 14 gauge primary
tubes and 3 inch ball style collectors. All our headers are full length, mandrel bent
with some welds on tight turns. To keep our costs down we ship them bare not coated as
we feel there enough Coating Companies you can deal with locally. We can have them coated
if you can not, call for prices.
Tri-5 R&D guarantees headers to fit using the "Total Cost Involved Side Motor Mounts Conversion
Kit". We recommend this kit as we have found it to be one of the easiest to install.
As their kit moves the engine 3/4 inch forward you do not have to worry about firewall clearance,
running tall valve covers or installing a bigger HEI distributor. Our headers were setup using
the "Total Cost Involved Side Transmission Mount Kit" which we also recommend. As our headers
do not hang below the bottom of your frame, you will need to cut off your stock bellhousing
mounting ears for clearance of the exhaust system.
